Instructions:
Clean and sterilise all equipment using Brewmaster Sterilising Detergent
Prepare 21 L of water at 30°C
Add 8 kg of sugar or 9 kg of dextrose
Stir until all sugar is dissolved
Add the contents of this packet and the Pure Distilling Spirit Enhancer. Stir well.
Replace lid and airlock (if the fermentation is very robust, leave the airlock out for the first two days, this will reduce the chance of water being blown out) and leave for approximately 10 days. For cleanest result, keep temperature within 20-24 degrees. Max range:
6 kg sugar / 7 kg dextrose: 20-30 degrees
8 kg sugar / 9 kg dextrose: 20-27 degrees
Measure the wash with a hydrometer
If the hydrometer reads higher than 990, the wash still has residual sugar in it, stir gently and check again in two days.
If the hydrometer reads 990 or lower, fermentation is finished, add Pure Distilling Crystal Clear (follow instructions on the pack) and plan to distil the wash in the next few days.
For a faster result or if the room temperature is higher than 27°C, use 6 kg sugar or 7 kg dextrose and leave for 3-4 days or until the hydrometer reads at/below 995.
